VP of Finance for a professional services firm in N.E. Ohio. Meeting with the CEO and President provided the information needed to commence the search. The client, needing to move quickly, had already advertised the position on job boards and utilized two other search firms. Despite interviewing multiple candidates the position was still vacant. The role required very specific skills and experiences and being a technology focused company, the client had a strong preference for a candidate with matching software skills. We met with the President, learned about his engineering background, the company history, and the role he was looking to fill. This search required a candidate with a strong engineering background and the client had a strong preference for a candidate with an advanced degree and professional licensing. Five candidates that met his criteria were presented in less than ten days. By managing the interview process for the client over the next two weeks, and then securing the client’s top choice, the search was completed in less than thirty days.
Divisional Controller for a N.E. Ohio based manufacturer specializing in polymers. The search began by consulting the H.R. Manager by phone and then conducting an informational meeting over lunch with the hiring manager. The client had the position posted online and was actively recruiting on their own as well as working with multiple search firms. The lunch with the hiring manager proved to be the key to our search. Two highly qualified candidates were presented from competitor companies. They interviewed both candidates along with about ten other candidates from their on line advertisements and other recruiters. After completing all the interviews the client selected our candidate, the first candidate interviewed for the position.

Sr. Project Manager for a manufacturing client in the commercial construction industry. The client was seeking a candidate with strong project management experience in the commercial construction industry along with a manufacturing background. Several senior members of their management team were interviewed to understand their business and the position’s responsibilities. After completing a plant tour, our search resulted in presenting three strong, industry experienced candidates. The top two were selected for second interviews, assessments and follow up interviews. They selected the stronger of the two candidates.
Trust Accountant with a Non-Profit in N.E. Ohio. This search required an extreme sense of urgency because the position was vacated unexpectedly. After meeting with the Controller to understand the specific demands of the position, the search was on. Three candidates were presented in less than a week. The client interviewed all three candidates along with several other candidates from other search firms.
